This is a well executed map by the Mid-West Map company of Aurora MO which was in operation from 1926 to 1935. There is no date, as usual, but the inclusion of federal highway shields yields a date of post 1926. The code on the front of the map would indicate a publication date of 1934 according to the Western Association of Map Libraries dating guide. The composition of the map is well thought out leaving many spaces for the inclusion of advertising. It was this advertising that allowed for free distribution of the map. Sponsors included ;Twelfth St. Garage, The Motormart Garage, The Chancellor Hotel and Battlefield Crystal Caverns. There is a small inset map of western WV. This is printed in blue ink on white off-white paper giving a very attractive appearance. Very good with two small marginal tear mended with archival mending tape. Bestandsnummer des Verkäufers 475
