Cram and published by "Cram s Atlas" in Chicago, dating back to the late 19th century. The map reflects a period of transition for Cuba from Spanish colonial rule to independence, influenced by the Spanish-American War, while the Bahamas were a British colony. It features Cuba, the Bahamas, parts of the surrounding Caribbean, and the northern coast of Haiti, with the southeastern tip of Florida visible.
