CONDITION: Folded in the middle with 2 single page maps on the back.This is an 1888 map titled "Palestine" by Geo. F. Cram, with a clear focus on geographical features, historical regions, and biblical references. The map is divided into various color-coded regions, indicating territorial divisions or provinces within the ancient land. Major cities like Jerusalem, Nazareth, Jericho, Gaza, and Damascus are marked, as well as prominent bodies of water such as the Mediterranean Sea, the Dead Sea, and the Sea of Galilee. Mountain ranges, rivers, and valleys are depicted, particularly noting regions like Mount Lebanon and the Jordan River valley. The map includes ancient landmarks and routes like Mount Carmel and Beersheba. The Sinai Peninsula and Desert of Paran also appear to the south and east of the map.
