2 Antique prints, untitled. Different classes of inhabitants of Holland in the 16th. And 17th century with their costumes. From noblemen to commoners. Etching on hand laid paper. Description: Published in J. Le Francq van Berkhey "Natuurlijke historie van Holland", ca 1780.Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Cornelis Brouwer' after 'Cornelis Buijs'. Cornelis Brouwer (active ca. 1775-1794) worked in Amsterdam. He worked together with C. Ploos van Amstel for a while. Cornelis Buijs (1745-1826) worked in Amsterdam Condition: Good, given age. Small margins, remargined at right side using contemporary paper backed with acid-free archival tape. Lower margin dampstained. Top margin faintly browned.
