2 Original antique prints, titled: 'Ungarische Pfannenflicker'. It shows: two full-length portraits of Hungarian itinirant tinkers. Both wear a sleeved cape, hat, and walking cane with a spool of thread attached to it. Etching/engraving on a vellin type paper. Description: Exact source unknown. Published 1812. Johann Adam Klein (Nuremberg 1792 - Munich 1875) was a German painter and engraver. He was initially trained by Georg Christoph von Bemmel, apprenticed to the studio of Ambroise Gabler in 1805, and studied at the Vienna Academy of Arts from 1811 to 1818. His battle scenes gained him his greatest reputation. Condition: Good, given age. The margins quite heavily but faintly foxed.
