3 Antique prints, titled: 'XIX - Mill Street, Warwick' - (with: 'Beauchamps Chapel, St. Mary's', 'Guy's Tower from Castle Lane Warwick'). A gaggle of geese is led through the street past two mothers with their children. Drypoint etching and engraving on Wove (vellin) and Japanese paper. Description: F.G. Fleay: 'The land of Shakespeare'. London: Bumpus 1889. This book was printed in an edition of 300 copies on antique paper and 20 copies on Japanese paper. Artists and Engravers: Made by 'John MacPherson' after own design. The smaller engravings often signed 'Dawson sc.' (engraved by Dawson), and most are also monogrammed J.MP. or MacPherson (who designed the illustrations and etched the main plates). Condition: Excellent, given age. Some spots in margin.
