5 Antique prints, titled: 'Monk Bar York.' - Collection of five porcelaincards with views of the cathedral and Clifford's tower in York. Typical examples of the porcelaincard industry. A very finely lithographed image was printed on paper with a shiny smooth surface. York. Lithography on wove paper. Made by 'Henry Cave' after own design. Henry Cave (1780-1836) was active in York as engraver and publisher. Good, given age. Small margins, some oxidation of the surface of the cards. Printed in bronze gold. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully. The overall size is ca. 11.4 x 7.5 cm. The image size is ca. 11.4 x 7.5 cm.
