Copper engraved map of the wild game track near Dieren in the Netherlands. On the foreground is Rheden, Middachten Castle, Ellecom and Dieren. This plan originates from: 'Geldersse Geschiedenissen .' by A. van Slichtenhorst, published ca. 1654.Artists and Engravers: The author Arend van Slichtenhorst was born and worked in Arnhem. He studied law. The carthographer of this map is Nicolaes van Geelkercken (1585-1656), Dutch cartographer and surveyor.Condition: Excellent. general age related toning. some light staining from handling.
