(Examples of the art of drawing by several artists.), published in 1671.Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Jan de Bisschop' after 'Bacc. Band'. Jan de Bisschop (1628-1671)was widely influential in art and art publishing. A lawyer by profession, he set up practice in The Hague around 1652 and later founded a drawing academy there. He mingled with an elite circle of intellectuals. Condition: Good, given age. Light soiling. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
