Hendrik Kobell & Dirk Langendijk were both active in Rotterdam in the second half of the 18th. Century. They are seen as two of the really good artists of their time. Hendrik Kobell (Dutch; 1751-1779) was a painter, designer and engraver of marine scenes. Dirk Langendijk (1748-1805) specialised in military scenes. He was famous for his watercolours of battlefields. Condition: Excellent, given age. Large margins. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling.
