Antique print, untitled. Landscape with two sheep next to a canal. On the canal a punter is maneuvering the boat into a wooden dock. A traveler to the right. etching on laid paper paper. Description: Individually published master print. Ref: Hippert & Linnig 29. Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Hermanus Fock ' after 'Hermanus Fock'. Hermanus Fock (1766-1822) was active in Amsterdam as a professional etcher/engraver. He produced many fine landscape prints. Condition: Very good, given age. Sheet a little browned, ghosting from previous matting around the image. A small crease in the top margin. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling.
