Nicolaes Pieterszoon Berchem / Berghem (1620-1683) was a highly esteemed and prolific Dutch Golden Age painter of animals and pastoral landscapes, populated with mythological or biblical figures, but also of a number of allegories and genre pieces. Condition: Very good, given age. No margins, slightly cut into the plateline on the left. Remains of paper from previous attachment on rear (removable). Left paper edges with thin paper spots.
