Antique print, untitled. It shows: the view of a farm with barn and large tree. Etching, on laid paper. Some thin spots verso on the left side and some old remnants of tape. Description: The oeuvre of Pieter Janson is small and produced privately in small editions. His prints are rare. State: only state. Ref: Hippert & Linnig 19, FL 20. Artists and Engravers: Made by P. Janson. Pieter Janson (1768-1851) was born in 's- Hertogenbosch. His father, Johannes Janson, was an officer and engineer, but also a painter and etcher. He taught Pieter in the arts. Later Pieter joined the French army and went to 1812 to Russia, where he was severely wounded. He died athe age of 83 in Arnhem. Condition: Very good, small margins. Nice impression.
