Antique Master Print, titled: 'Pietro Lombardo, B. Severini Boezio, e S. Dionisio Areopagita.' - Portraits of Pietro Lombardo, Severino Boezio and Dionysus the Areopagyt. Mezzotint engraving on laid paper. Description: Made on the basis of drawing by Luigi Sabatelli.Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Carlo Lasinio' after 'Taddeo Gaddi'. Carlo Lasinio (1759-1838) was an Italian painter and engraver, mostly active in Florence. He engraved after old masters and created original images as well. He founded the Academy in Pisa. Taddeo Gaddi (1290-1366) worked in Florence. He is one of the painters of the early Renaissance. Condition: Good, given age. No margins. A faint stain in the top left edge of the image, just beside Lombardo's head. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
