Antique Master Print, untitled. An umbrella seller on a Dutch market near a pub. Etching on wove paper. Description: Signed in pencil below the image, and with the annotation "Eigen druk" (impression by the artist) in the artist's manuscript.Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Anton Franciscus Pieck' after own design. Anton Franciscus Pieck(1895-1987) was aDutchpainter, artist and graphic artist. His works are noted for their nostalgic orfairy tale-like character and are widely popular, appearing regularly on cards and calendars. From 1952 to 1974, Pieck was responsible for designing almost everything for fairy tale park Efteling in Kaatsheuvel in the Netherlands. Condition: Excellent, given age. Print has been attached to a carrier sheet. As a result there is slight warping in the sheet. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
