Image size: 40 x 29 cm.Source: first published by John Boydell in London, 1776.Ref:Provenance:Made by R. Earlom after Sir Peter Lely. Richard Earlom (1743-1822) was an reknown English mezzotint engraver. He displayed great skill as a draughtsman, and at the same time acquired without assistance the art of engraving in mezzotint. Sir Peter Lely(1618-1680) was a painter ofDutchorigin, whose career was nearly all spent in England, where he became the dominant portrait painter to the court.Condition: Good, given age. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.This item has not been fully described / researched. He holds shop in Overasselt, a small town on the Maas river near Nijmegen, The Netherlands, which can be visited by appointment. He is a member of the Dutch Association of Antiquarians (NVVA) and the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers (ILAB).

We ship worldwide and package our items meticulously. We carry an umbrella insurance policy. Our shipment rates are based on shipments up to 1 kg. For heavier shipments we will contact you with a quote. Currently our surcharge for international shipments over 1 kg is 9,14 euro / kg. In addition POST NL temporarly charges 3,60 euro per kg due to CORONA related logistics. We ship by registered mail through POST NL. Expedited shipping or shipment through another carrier is available on request at a possible surcharge.
