Antwerp; 1560-1612) was active in Paris from 1575 in the workshop of Jean Rahel. He married a daughter of Antoine Caron. He was influenced by the Wierix brothers and was considered one of the most important portrait engravers of his time. Condition: Good, given age. Cropped to the image edge. Impression a little weak.
