Louis-Leopold Boilly (1761-1845) was a French painter and draughtsman. He was a gifted portrait and genre painter. He became famous with his expressive depictions of caricature. Condition: Very good, given age. Small margins. Margins discoloured from previous matting. Left margin uneven from binding. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling.
