The image size is ca. 13.2 x 10.2 inch.Antique print, titled: 'Aspice ut obsequis se cuncta animalia dedant', ('Look at her, dedicated to the service to every beast'). Landscape with a shepherdess milking a goat. A second goat, a donkey and a dog are nearby. This separately published print was published by Nicolaas Visscher.Artists and Engravers: Made by Jan de Visscher after Nicolaus P. Berchem. Nicolaes Pietersz. Berchem (1620-1683) was a Dutch painter of Italianate pastoral landscapes. Numerous of his paintings were engraved by famous engravers such as Boucher, Oudry, and Fragonard. Figures always feature quite prominently in his paintings. Jan de Visscher (1636-1712) was a Dutch Golden Age engraver who became painter later in life. He made numerous etchings after Wouwerman and Berchem.Condition: Good, given age. Two small nicks in the top margin, not affecting image (closed with contemporary paper). Minimal paper damage in the lower left corner. Top edge of the image slightly wrinkled. Collection mark on verso (Fabricius, below a small stamp: 'Kupferstich-Sammlung' around initials EF/FE).
