This original engraving originates from 'Historische Beschryving der Reizen, of Nieuwe of Volkome Verzameling van de allerwaardigste en zeldzaamste zee- en land-togten [Ã Â¿Â½]', volume 21. This is a continuation of Abbe Prevost's work 'Histoire Generale des Voyages', published in Amsterdam by Roman, De Groot, Loveringh, et al (1767).Artists and Engravers: Engraved by Jakob van der Schley (Amsterdam, 1715-1779). Van der Schley was a Dutch draughtsman and engraver, who studied under Bernard Picart, and whose style he subsequently copied.Condition: Very good, given age. Left edge minimally uneven from binding. Top margin faintly dampstained. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.Keywords: ANTIQUE PRINT-AMBON-SE. He holds shop in Overasselt, a small town on the Maas river near Nijmegen, The Netherlands, which can be visited by appointment. He is a member of the Dutch Association of Antiquarians (NVVA) and the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers (ILAB).

We ship worldwide and package our items meticulously. We carry an umbrella insurance policy. Our shipment rates are based on shipments up to 1 kg. For heavier shipments we will contact you with a quote. Currently our surcharge for international shipments over 1 kg is 9,14 euro / kg. In addition POST NL temporarly charges 3,60 euro per kg due to CORONA related logistics. We ship by registered mail through POST NL. Expedited shipping or shipment through another carrier is available on request at a possible surcharge.
