The image size is ca. 11.8 x 8.5 inch.Antique print, titled: 'Battle of St. Jean de Luz, December 10, 1813.' - Depiction of the Battle of St. Jean de Luz, during the Peninsular War. James Jenkins 'The Martial Achievements of Great Britain', published in London, 1822. The most famous English colour plate book recording the military endeavours of the Napoleonic wars, considered by Hardie to be a brilliant and worthy record of a brilliant period in our country's history. Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Thomas Sutherland' after 'William Heath'. Thomas Sutherland (ca. 1785- ca. 1820) was an English aquatint etcher. William Heath(1794-1840) was aBritishartist. He was best known for his published engravings which includedcaricatures, political cartoons, and commentary on contemporary life.Condition: Excellent, given age. Stamp on reverse. Some faint soiling in the margin. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. We ship worldwide and package our items meticulously. We carry an umbrella insurance policy. Our shipment rates are based on shipments up to 1 kg. For heavier shipments we will contact you with a quote. Currently our surcharge for international shipments over 1 kg is 9,14 euro / kg. In addition POST NL temporarly charges 3,60 euro per kg due to CORONA related logistics. We ship by registered mail through POST NL. Expedited shipping or shipment through another carrier is available on request at a possible surcharge.
