Plate Bruxelles 2: "Eglise Notre-Dame du Sablon, Choeur" (Choir of the Church of our Lady of Sablon). It shows three religious devotional mural images. Original pochoir hand-coloured stencil print. Description: This attractive original old antique print / plate originates from: 'La Peinture Decorative, religieuse, et civile en Belgique aux siecles passees' by Camille Tulpinck, published in Bruxelles: Vromant & Co., undated but ca. 1906. Artists and Engravers: Tulpinck, Camille (1861-1946) was a Belgian artist, art promoter and amateur archeologist. Tulpinck's early work (before WW I) consists mainly of reproductions and copies of murals and tomb paintings throughout Belgium. The present print is clearly the result of that work.
