Description: This print originates from the 8vo (octavo) edition of Fancois Robichon de Guerniere's 'Ecole de Cavalerie contenant La Connoissance, l'Instruction, et la Conservation du Cheval'. This edition was published in 1769 in Paris. We also stock plates from the earlier (1733) quarto edition of the same work.Artists and Engravers: Engraved by Beauvais after C. Parrocel. Charles Parrocel (1688-1752) was a French painter and engraver, specialised in battle and hunting scenes. Condition: Excellent, given age. Right edge uneven from binding, a tiny stain in the bottom margin. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
