With an interesting biography and description of the execution of Malet by firing squad after his attempt to overthrow Napoleon. Lithograph on wove (vellin) paper. Made by 'Auguste Lecler' after own design. Auguste Lecler (1788-ca. 1840) was active as engraver and lithographer. He was a pupil of Tardieu. Good, given age. Small margins. Creases in the lower margin. Top left and right corners a little browned. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
