Antique print, titled: 'France, XIVe et XVe Siecles. 1 & 2. Homme Noble et Bourgeois. 3. Dame Noble.' - (France, 14th and 15th centuries. A nobleman and bourgeois, and a noblewoman). These three figures in contemporary costume are inspired by a stained glass window and a 15th century painting. From: "Les Arts Somptuaires, Histoire du Costume et de l'Amueublement" (Hangard-Mauge, 1858). The images are mostly inspired by medieval manuscripts, or other antique examples. Chromolithograph on wove (vellin) paper. Made by 'Moulin' after an anonymous artist. Good, given age. Margins soiled and foxed.
