The emblem shows a crying cupid and men destroying cupid's bow and arrow. This symbolizes that without peace and quiet there's no love and the Jesuit's purity does not go well with laziness. Surrounded by a decorative border with ornaments. Copperplate engraving and text on verge type hand laid paper. Text front and rear.
