Hand coloured crayon style lithograph on a vellin type paper. on paper. Size in cm: The overall size is ca. 29.5 x 20.5 cm. The image size is ca. 23.5 x 16 cm. Size in inch: The overall size is ca. 11.6 x 8.1 inch. The image size is ca. 9.3 x 6.3 inch.This rare original print shows: a view of a municipal building (The Exchange) in Schiedam, the Netherlands. Several figures in contemporary costume inhabit the image. Source unknown. To be determined. Published in c. 1860.Artists and Engravers: Lithographer: Carl Wilhelm Mieling (1815-1903) was a lithographic printer in the Netherlands.Condition: Very good given age. Bottom edge uneven from binding, ghosting from previous framing around the image. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. He holds shop in Overasselt, a small town on the Maas river near Nijmegen, The Netherlands, which can be visited by appointment. He is a member of the Dutch Association of Antiquarians (NVVA) and the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers (ILAB).

We ship worldwide and package our items meticulously. We carry an umbrella insurance policy. Our shipment rates are based on shipments up to 1 kg. For heavier shipments we will contact you with a quote. Currently our surcharge for international shipments over 1 kg is 9,14 euro / kg. In addition POST NL temporarly charges 3,60 euro per kg due to CORONA related logistics. We ship by registered mail through POST NL. Expedited shipping or shipment through another carrier is available on request at a possible surcharge.
