Antique print, titled: 'Les Francs-Macons Flamands en Loge' - ('Flemish Freemasons in their Lodge'). Engraving on wove paper. Description: Source unknown, to be determined.Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Bernard Francois Lepicie' after 'David Teniers I'. Bernard Francois Lepicie (1698-1755) was an engraver and historiographer from France. David Teniers the Elder (Antwerp 1582-1649) was a Dutch Baroque artist. He was taught by Rubens in Antwerp and Elsheimer in Rome. In 1606 he joined the Antwerp guild of artists. Condition: Good, given age. Margins cropped to the image edge. A piece from the lower edge (mostly caption, but also a piece of the floor) formerly tore off the sheet. An old restoration joins the piece to the rest of the sheet. Otherwise fine.
