Description: This rare map was published by Vredius (De Wree) in his 'Historiae Comitum Flandriae' (Brughes: 1652). The map itself is dated 1647.Artists and Engravers: Published by Olivarius Vredius (Olivier de Wree, 1596-1652). Vredius belongs to the most prominent representatives of late-Belgian humanism and his historical works are still considered to be of high value.
