This is the very rare first edition of this work, with views of the Alte Mainbrucke, Romerberg, and Frauenberg in winter. Skillfull engravings, apparently especially commissioned by the chief architect of the city.Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Georg Daniel Heumann' after 'Salomon Kleiner'. Georg Daniel Heumann (Nurnberg 1691-1759) was a German draughtsman and engraver active in Nurnberg and Gottingen. Salomon Kleiner (1700-1761)." Condition: Very good, given age. Some tiny stains.
