Antique print, titled: 'Brugge' - ('Brughes'). A view of the tower of the Jeruzalemkerkje (Jerusalem church) in Brughes, with a row of houses in front of it. Etching on hand laid paper. Watermark: Van Gelder en Zonen. Description: Signed by the artist in pencil in the lower right corner. Titled in the same hand lower left. Monogrammed and dated in the plate (lower left).Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Pol Dom' after own design. Paul ('Pol') Louis Carel Dom (Antwerp, 1885-1978, the Hague) was a multifaceted Belgian artist. He was active as painter and graphic artist, political cartoonist and portraitist. Condition: Very good, given age. Sheet a little browned and with some small stains in the top margin. A small tear in the right margin (closed with acid-free archival tape).
