Hyginus (died in the year 140/42), Anicetus (died in the year 167), Pius I (died in the year 154/161), Soter (died in the year 174). This attractive original old antique print / plate originates from: 'Triomph der Pausen van Roomen over alle hare Benyders ende Bestryders met eene volkomen, ende overtuyghende wederlegginghe van alle de lasteringhen, en valscheden van de sectarisen.' (Transl.: Victory of the Roman Popes over those who envy and fight them, and a convincing plea against all laster and fraud by the sectarians / sects.) published in Antwerpen, Michiel Knobbaert, by het Prosessen-huys, in S.Peeter, 1678.Artists and Engravers: Author: Cornelius Hazart (1617-1690) was a Dutch Jesuit controversialist, orator, and writer of polemical history. Engraver: Frederik Bouttats, born in Antwerp c. 1620.Condition: Very good given age. General age related toning. Edges slightly browned. We ship worldwide and package our items meticulously. We carry an umbrella insurance policy. Our shipment rates are based on shipments up to 1 kg. For heavier shipments we will contact you with a quote. Currently our surcharge for international shipments over 1 kg is 9,14 euro / kg. In addition POST NL temporarly charges 3,60 euro per kg due to CORONA related logistics. We ship by registered mail through POST NL. Expedited shipping or shipment through another carrier is available on request at a possible surcharge.
