A. de Vries (not in Lugt).Artists and Engravers: Made by 'Johann Elias Haid' after 'Georg de Marree'. Johann Jakob Haid (1704-1767) was a German engraver who worked in Augsburg. He came from a family of artists and engravers. He himself was mostly known for his large mezzotint portraits. Nothing could be found about this artist Condition: Very good, given age. Large margins.
