Antique print, titled: 'Le duc d'Orleans.' - Portrait of Louis Philippe, duke of Orleans. Published by Furne and W. Coquebert in Paris. Engraving on wove paper. Made by 'John Henry Robinson' after 'Auguste Raffet'. John Henry Robinson (1796-1871) worked as a professional engraver and book illustrator. Auguste Raffet (1804-1860) was a pupil of Charlet. By him, Raffet was influenced in working with lithography. Many of his prints concern Napoleon. Good, given age. Ample margins.
