Made by 'Bernard Romain Julien' after own design. Bernard-Romain Julien (1802-1871) was a French painter, draughtsman and lithographer from Bayonne, active in Paris. He was a pupil of Gros and exposed at the Salon from ca. 1833 till 1850. Good, given age. Small margins, some surface dust and foxing. Remains of paper and tape from previous attachment on rear.
