Antique print, titled: 'William viscount Say.' - Portrait of William Fiennes. Illustration to "History of the grand rebellion". Ref: OD 1. Engraving on laid paper. Made by an anonymous engraver after 'William Faithorne'. William Faithorne (1620-1691) worked as a young engraver for Robert Peake. He spent several years in Paris and from 1652 he worked as engrvaer, artdealer and publisher in London. Good, given age. Margins cropped to the image edge. Sheet faintly browned, and with manuscript annotion (ink) in the lower margin. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
