Antique print, titled: 'L'Amble, L'Aubin', ('Amble' and 'Aubin'), each with a rider on horseback performing the specific riding figure. Etching/engraving on hand laid (verge) paper, with watermark. Watermark not visible on every sheet. Description: This print originates from the 8vo (octavo) edition of Fancois Robichon de Guerniere's 'Ecole de Cavalerie contenant La Connoissance, l'Instruction, et la Conservation du Cheval'. This edition was published in 1769 in Paris. We also stock plates from the earlier (1733) quarto edition of the same work.Artists and Engravers: Drawn and engraved by C. Parrocel. Charles Parrocel (1688-1752) was a French painter and engraver, specialised in battle and hunting scenes. Condition: Excellent, given age. Left edge remargined using contemporary paper backed with acid free archival tape. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
