Description: This original antique print originates from a series of engravings of statues from the Archbasilica of St. John Lateran, a cathedral church in Rome. The series was published ca. 1785.Artists and Engravers: Engraved by Pietro Leone Bombelli after a statue by Angelo de Rossi (1671-1715). Pietro Leone Bombelli (1737-1809) was an Italian painter and engraver from Rome, student of Pozzi. Condition: Very good, given age.
