The image size is ca. 13.9 x 9.8 inch.Antique print, titled: 'Agger Gertrudibergensis � �' - A plan of the situation of the combating forces at the end of the Siege of Breda (1624) during the Eighty Years' War. It shows the fortifications and encampments near Geertruidenberg and Zevenbergen in the Netherlands. This print originates from the 1629 latin ed. of Herman Hugo's 'Obsidis Bredana, sub Ambrosio Spinola', first published in Antwerp in 1626. English ed. in 1627. This is an eye-witness account of the ten-month siege of the fortress of Breda in 1625 by Spanish forces led by Spinola.Artists and Engravers: Anonymous.Condition: Very good, given age. Original middle fold, as issued. A few small stains. � General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. For heavier shipments we will contact you with a quote. Currently our surcharge for international shipments over 1 kg is 9,14 euro / kg. In addition POST NL temporarly charges 3,60 euro per kg due to CORONA related logistics. We ship by registered mail through POST NL.
