From: "Voyage pittoresque de la Grece", bound with ''Voyage de Constantinople', a large and early lithographic atlas. Printed and published in Brussels by Calcographie Royale J. Goubaud, 1822-1829. This is in fact an edition in lithography made after the engraved ed. 'Voyage pittoresque de la la Grece' by Choiseul-Gouffier (Paris, 1782-1822) and 'Voyage pittoresque de Constantinople et des rives du Bosphore' by Melling (Paris, 1809-1819), that were published in Paris. In early lithography by the first Belgian lithographers and much scarser as the earlier engraved ed. Ref: Van der Marck p. 76, 251. Blackmer 1105. Atabey 798.Artists and Engravers: Anonymous.Condition: Very good, given age. Some faint soiling in the margins. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. He holds shop in Overasselt, a small town on the Maas river near Nijmegen, The Netherlands, which can be visited by appointment. He is a member of the Dutch Association of Antiquarians (NVVA) and the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers (ILAB).

We ship worldwide and package our items meticulously. We carry an umbrella insurance policy. Our shipment rates are based on shipments up to 1 kg. For heavier shipments we will contact you with a quote. Currently our surcharge for international shipments over 1 kg is 9,14 euro / kg. In addition POST NL temporarly charges 3,60 euro per kg due to CORONA related logistics. We ship by registered mail through POST NL. Expedited shipping or shipment through another carrier is available on request at a possible surcharge.
