Plate : 'The Equestrian Statue in Bronze of King William the Third, now erecting in St. James's Square'. This plate shows a stutue of William III (1650 - 1702), a sovereign Prince of Orange of the House of Orange-Nassau by birth. From 1672, he governed as Stadtholder William III of Orange (Dutch: Willem III van Oranje) over Holland, Zeeland, Utrecht, Gelderland, and Overijssel of the Dutch Republic. From 1689 he reigned as William III over England and Ireland. Engraving on a vellin type paper. Description: This original antique print was published in England, dated 1808.Artists and Engravers: This plate by S. Rawle. Condition: Good. Small stain in print.
