Israel Silvestre (Nancy 1621 - Paris 1691) was a prolific French draughtsman, etcher and print dealer who specialised in topographical views and architectural plates. He was orphaned at a young age, and taken in by his uncle Israel Henriet, a Paris-based print dealer, and friend of Jacques Callot. Publisher: van Merlen.
