A HIGH RESOLUTION DOWNLOAD IS ALSO AVAILABLE, PLEASE EMAIL FOR INFO. Chramn was the rebellious son of King Chlotar I, who, after commiting many crimes in his father's kingdom, went to Paris, the kingdom of his uncle Childebert I. There, the two conspired to kill Chlotar. Chlotar, after learning of this alliance, sent three of his sons Gunthar, Guntram, and Charibert to defeat Chramn. When Childebert died in 588, Chlotar became sole ruler of all the Franks. At this time, Chramn sought audience with his father, but it was denied, and he went into personal exile in Brittany. In 560, Chlotar, furious with his son, attacked Brittany and defeated Chramn, who was then executed on the order of his father.
