Illustrated at the head of the poem with a portrait of the poet engraved by Takeshi Takahara after a drawing by Leonard Baskin. Broadside. One of an edition of 500 copies of which 50 were printed on hand-made paper, numbered and signed by Takahara and Baskin, this is one of the latter, this being copy 31, signed by Takahara and Baskin. Single sheet, size 35cm x 59cm. A poem in Scots, from the author's first collection, with English prose translation. Roll creases in paper, some light foxing in top right hand corner (see image) and one 1cm tear in crease on left side about two-thirds of the way down, otherwise a Very Good copy of a fragile item.
