Etching of a mother with her child seen through a ruined arch, with trees in the background. Together with the original plate.Etching on wove (vellin) paper. Sheet size: 20.6 x 26.5 cm. Plate and image size: 19.3 x 25.3 cm.The print is a later impression, drawn from the original plate, included with the print. The plate has been treated with lacquer (removable) for preservation purposes.Signed in the plate, signature partially defaced.Made by Etienne Bosch after own design.Etienne Bosch (1863-1933) was a Dutch painter, draughtsman, lithographer and etcher. He was a student at the same time as Marius Bauer at the Academy in the Hague, and worked in a similar style.Very good. Nicely inked impression. In 2018 he decided to further develop his personal collection through 'Pictura Prints'. Peter has a background in design and landscape architecture and holds a degree in paper restauration. He holds shop in Overasselt, a small town on the Maas river near Nijmegen, The Netherlands, which can be visited by appointment. He is a member of the Dutch Association of Antiquarians (NVVA) and the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers (ILAB).

Pictura Prints guarantees the items to be as described. We always add scans or photographs to our listings. Further information is possibly available on request. Certificates of autenticity (COA) can be provided on request. We use a margin tax treatment.

We ship worldwide and package our items meticulously. We carry an umbrella insurance policy. Our shipment rates are based on shipments up to 1 kg. For heavier shipments we will contact you with a quote. Currently our surcharge for international shipments over 1 kg is 9,14 euro / kg. In addition POST NL temporarly charges 3,60 euro per kg due to CORONA related logistics. We ship by registered mail through POST NL. Expedited shipping or shipment through another carrier is available on request at a possible surcharge.
