This original lithograph from John Gould's first book of bird lithographs is from the Himalayas and was drawn from nature ans on stone by his wife Elizabeth who was suspected of drawing many of his birds though often attributed to him, both of them (J&E), and John listed in conjunction with others. The litho is in excellent condition, photographed in a cellophane sleeve, and 2/3 natural size. Extraordinary sale price for this imposing figure. Please add $20 for special handking and shippong.
