Clear and sharp with beautiful detail. Aged Appropriately. As scanned.This map shows New Zealand, divided into its two main islands: North Island and South Island, as well as Tasmania and Van Diemen s Land to the west in a separate inset map. The map highlights the political boundaries of various counties or regions on both islands using different colors such as yellow, green, pink, and orange. Each county is labeled, with a reference list on the right-hand side of the map that correlates county names with their location on both islands. Major cities like Wellington (marked as the capital) and Auckland are visible. The North Island shows regions like Auckland, Taranaki, Wellington, and Hawke's Bay, while South Island highlights Canterbury, Otago, and Southland among others. Key geographic features like mountain ranges, rivers, and coastal lines are also faintly indicated. The Tasman Sea, the Southern Ocean, and surrounding smaller islands like Stewart Island are included.
