This originally hand-colored aquatint engraving is from William Sams's A Tour Through Paris. The work was published in London by the author. The work was not dated, but the paper is watermarked 1824 to 1825. V. Auger was responsible for many of the illustrations. They plates depict unique snapshots in time of Parisian life. --- The work is in very good to excellent condition overall.
