H.F. Garrison - 20th century American Landscape Artist from the Hudson School New York USA, (Hudson River School.) Worked mainly in the New York area, then later travelled to the West Coast in Oregon. Oil on canvas from 1930 - The canvas has been lightly cleaned and antique frame restored. Painting is in excellent condition Dimension 22" wide x 18" deep. Signed by H.F. GARRISON and the signature has been checked. Provenance - purchased at auction in New York 1979. Technical virtuosity and finish give the composition a beautiful harmonious balance and a somewhat impressionist aspect. Valuation made by Heritage Auctions USA Courier service to be paid by Buyer.
