19th century Paris prints- lot x 5 small wood engravings with fine hand color. Charming antique wood engraved prints, nice little assortment of five different panoramic birds-eye views. All hand-colored in a manner which greatly enhances the visual appeal of the view. Each worthy of framing or giving away individually as inexpensive presents. (Paris, France) Issued c.1860-80 era, Paris. All commercial wood engraved printed images, expertly hand colored, one with undoubtedly original hand color, the others beautifully and expertly hand colored more recently. Two smallest images with text on reverse. List of views includes: La Seine a Paris - Dessin de Benoist, d'apres une Photographie. Place de la Republique. Paris from Notre Dame. Paris - Les Quais. Paris - Vue Prise de la Tour Saint-Gervais. Minor light toning and small scattered age spotting as typical for prints and maps of this vintage, perhaps small minor paper flaws, but to our eyes and for most people, an entirely acceptable and nice looking example.
